Eclipse Futbol Club … Train to Develop, Play to Win!
Let me give you some background on Eclipse FC. Eclipse is a club, based out of Middletown Ohio, made up of approximately 20 U9-U18 boys and girls select soccer youth teams. This Spring season will see 4 high school age boys team competing for the club … 2 2001 teams, 2 2003 teams. The club does not currently have any girls HS teams … but that will change come Spring 2020 … wait for my post on that group next Spring. Why so confident? Because Eclipse FC develops players, coaches, and teams at a high level.
Assessing Where We Are … The remainder of this post is going to focus on the oldest and most experienced team in the club … the Eclipse FC Magic U18 .
The U18 Magic boys team will be playing Buckeye Premier Youth Soccer League (BPYSL) in the State Division.
NOTE: The State Division is the top level of BPYSL.
Successful teams in the State Division of BPYSL move on to play Ohio South Soccer League (OSSL), National Premier League (NPL), or Midwest Regional League (MRL), etc.
Why make a point to highlight the Eclipse FC U18 Magic boys team?
Here are the clubs that the U18 Magic boys will be facing this Spring in league play: Cincinnati United (CU), Ohio Galaxies, Warren County Soccer Academy (WCSA), Northern Kentucky Soccer Academy (NKSA), Pride SC, Worthington United 94, CUSE (CU-Southeast), and Westerville Impact — these clubs are some of the largest and most respected select soccer clubs in Southwest Ohio, the Columbus area, and Northern Kentucky.
For the U18 Magic boys, the opportunity to compete against club teams from some of the largest clubs in southwest Ohio, the Columbus area, and Northern Kentucky is a huge accomplishment and challenge!
NOTE: The Eclipse FC U18 Magic is paying $145 per player for this upcoming Spring season. I challenge you to find a better player fee than that in any club in Southwest Ohio, the Columbus area, or Northern Kentucky! Let alone pay that affordable player fee and get such a high level experience for the player and team. NOTE: No player on any team at Eclipse Futbol Club pays more than $300 per season!
The Eclipse FC U18 Magic boys will also be playing in the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (OSYSA) Presidents Cup in May. Another opportunity for this group to face some of the most talented U18 teams in southwest Ohio.
The Eclipse FC U18 Magic boys team has 2 players who will sign National Letters of Intent February 6th to begin playing soccer in college in the fall of 2019. Eclipse Futbol Club only has 4 seniors total in the club currently … the two undecided senior players are working with a college coach with hopes of playing college soccer next fall as well.
The U18 boys is setting the mark that all the younger club teams and players will be shooting to reach! What will the results be this Spring? Who knows. But the opportunity to experience soccer at a high level is huge for a small select soccer club team based out of Middletown, Ohio.
